Easter in Armenia
Armenians celebrated many of their holidays in the spring and associated them with the glorification of the gods. The most important of these holidays was “Birth of Vahagn”, which in ancient times coincided with the New Year. In the spring, people also celebrated Mother’s Day and Armenian Easter.
